1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
2 CUPS WATER
SALT TO TASTE
BRING WATER TO A BOIL
ADD SALT, GINGER and PEAR (Boil 10 minutes)
ADD BROWN SUGAR ( Boil 20 minutes )
Remove from heat
Allow to cool
Store pear and liquid in jar and refrigerate
